The DMI-2M and DMI-2S are far-reaching modifications of the earlier DMI. They are used to assess children’s intellectual potential on the basis of the efficiency of concrete operations. DMI-2 may be used instead of, or in addition to, intelligence tests to assess general mental level in children and also to assess the level of development of concrete operations as an important premise for predicting school achievement or detecting the reasons for scholastic difficulties.
